All good things must come to an end

Today I had to put down my cat Grace. I've had her since she was a kitten. She was 13 years old. She been in kidney failure. She lost so much weight and stopped eating a drinking. There was nothing I could do for her. I guess renal failure is pretty common in cats her age. I'm so very sad that she's gone. She been with me through many stages of my life. She's been my buddy; my shadow. My other cat Mica has been searching for her all day. It breaks my heart! They were napping buddies. I'd always come home and find them sleeping. I could never tell where one ended and the other began!
My crazy animal house has lost a resident and I've lost my friend.

Losing a pet is tough! I'm so sorry. Not that a baby can be compared with a pet or vice versa, but at least you'll have a new little soul soon.

I hope each day gets easier.

So sorry to hear about that, pets are many times the best of friends they're always there to listen and be there for you (especially when you're petting them =0)). We never had cats cuz my mom is extremely allergic, but I remember how hard it was to say goodbye to our family dog from forever, we didn't get the message until he was already gone =0(.
I've always wondered what animal heaven was like, you know they've got one and that's comforting.
No worries, Grace is happy =0)
